La planificación urbana en el Chile de hoy: “Actores sociales estructurados” y la construcción de redes de gobernabilidad

Resumen

Este trabajo examina la institucionalización en Chile de nuevas formas de gobernabilidad urbana basadas en una creciente interacción entre actores públicos y privados. Este proceso, gradual y diferenciado geográficamente, se interpreta como un producto de la actividad de agentes urbanos operando dentro de un contexto social dado y que construyen complejas redes de gobernabilidad basadas en relaciones de poder. El marco teórico expuesto aquí apunta a considerar la relación entre conocimiento técnico y política, y sugiere nuevas perspectivas para la investigación geográfica aplicada.
