The Traces of Album De Chile

Abstract
The article describes the curatorial basis of the Project “Álbum de Chile”, a proposal for an exhibition that was built from the crossings of two thematic lines collected from the body of Chilean photography: Myths, and Wounds. These lines connect authors and works in a dialogue tensed by concepts about representation, the emergence of new social classes, heroes, the landscape, censures and death. The “Álbum de Chile” project includes the edition of a catalogue, a book and a traveling exhibition. These allow the intercrossing of the identity and the sense of the images of Chile to reflect on the condition of inside and outside as a panoramic, unfolded vision.
