Aim and Scope

International Journal of Agriculture and Natural Resources (IJANR) is a journal dedicated to filling current knowledge gaps in agriculture, animal and crop production, agricultural economics, and natural resources (including, soil, water, natural forests, and biodiversity). IJANR is a non-profit, public-good basis and open science journal which publishes citable articles via robust peer-review process.

The core areas of research covered by the journal include but are not limited to (1) agroecology and sustainable food (animal and crop) production, (2) climate change on crop yields and water resources, (3) models and tools for resource-efficient agricultural and natural resources management, (4) postharvest studies and (5) socioeconomic perspectives of  agriculture. We strongly recommend testing the research subject on the field or greenhouse for at least two seasons for publication consideration.

The detailed thematic list of topics (but are not limited) is the following:

1. Agricultural Economics

2. Animal Ecology

3. Animal Health

4. Animal Nutrition

5. Animal Production

6. Animal Reproduction

7. Biotechnology

8. Botany

9. Crop Production

10. Crop Protection

11. Environmental and Ecology

12. Microbiology

13. Ornamental Crops

14. Phytochemistry

15. Plant Breeding, Genetics and Genetic Resources

16. Plant Nutrition

17. Soil Management

18. Value Products from Organic Residues

19. Viticulture and Enology

20. Irrigation and water management

Out-of-scope research areas include (1) nutrition and food research related to processed products, (2) in vitro methods for agricultural and crop improvement without field or greenhouse testing, (3) models related to crop storage, transportation and usage and (4) numerical modelling and prediction models without field testing.

For double-check if your manuscript if align of the scope of IJANR, check if there are articles in the journal related to your research topic.
