Abstract

This paper presenrs a synchesis of che explicarive and comprehensive quescioning process co nursing phenomena as a discipline and profession of human healrh care. Present  each  paccern  of  knowledge originally described by Barbara Carper as is view by Peggy Chinn and Maeona Kramer, in 1995: empirical, erhics, aescherics, personal  knowing  and  adds  cransculcural  knowing  and  unknown.  Suggesrs  chac  che act ual srare of developmen c of che discipline of Nursing, shows che complexi cy of pacrerns of knowing char supporc professional accion and adds che need rhac nurses muse be aware of rhem as epistemological dimensions of Nursing Care, so it is possible to make visible social contribucion of NursingKey Words: Nursing, Paccerns of know ledge, sciencific knowledge, echical knowledge, aeschecical knowledge, personal knowledge, cransculcural knowledge, unknowing.
