About the Journal

Cuadernos.info is a scientific publication published quarterly (January, May and September) by the Faculty of Communications of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. It is an open access journal, whose articles are subjected to double blind peer evaluation, which publishes research results in Spanish, English and Portuguese on mediated communication in Latin America. It covers journalism, institutional communication, audiovisual, multimedia and advertising.
It is indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO, DOAJ, REDIB, Latindex, Erihplus, REBIUN, Dialnet, CLASE and CIRC. Founded in 1984 under the name Cuadernos de Información, in 2013 it became Cuadernos.info (ISSN: 0719-367X) to reflect its new identity as a purely scientific magazine. Since July 2020 it is exclusively digital, available at https://cuadernos.info.
