It is a document that presents and analyzes in a detailed way, the results of research projects. The generally used structure consists of four parts: introduction, methodology, results, and conclusions. Scientific articles will be limited to a length of 5,000 words without considering references.

Literature Review Article

The main purpose of these articles is to summarize, analyze and discuss published information related to a specific topic. A document resulting from an investigation where the results of published research on a field in science or technology are analyzed, systematized and integrated in order to present the advances, development trends and identify the state of the art limitations. Review articles will be limited to a length of 5,000 words without considering references.

Case Study Article

These articles present the results of a detailed study on a particular situation to share technical and methodological experiences and draw broader conclusions from them. They generally include a systematic review of the literature on similar cases and are considered to be a research methodology that involves design logic, collection, and analysis of these cases. Study articles will be limited to a length of 5,000 words without considering references.

Brief Communications

These articles provide brief scientific results and descriptions, which, due to their great innovation, need to be rapidly communicated. These articles detail methods and experimental results. However, their introduction and discussion are presented concisely and their bibliographical references are generally limited. Brief communications are the way to inform the scientific community about a new method or technique. They will be limited to 2,000 words.
