Abstract
This work analyses an excerpt from Luis Gusman’s novel Villa (1995) and his nouvelle ni muerto has perdido tu nombre (2002). This work studies the temporal and spatial connectedness in the aforementioned passages. The Temporal and spatial relationships called chronotope by m. bakhtin reflect critical issues regarding missing bodies and mourning, which occurred before and during the last Argentine dictatorship (1976-1983). The passages under study refer to two characters, carlos Villa and Federico Santoro, who disclose different experiences and attitudes towards the disappearance of other characters with whom they have had very close relationships.
