Abstract

One difficulty in grasping geopolitical terrorism carried out by the self proclaimed “State†claiming to be “Islamic†is the interwoven political, juridical and religious vision behind it and all the implications flowing from this. This article will attempt to identify some of the Juridical/Religious challenges posed by this phenomena and the diplomatic response of Pope Francis thereto.
