Abstract

This essay proposes to study the concept of mother in the poetry of Gabriela Mistral. It is based on readings of complete poems on mother. The readings do not apear in this essay. We try here to show the great variety of meanings of the word mother, and to enhanced the importance they have for a philosophical meditation.
