This paper is an attempt, continuing a previous work (Bello 2009), contribute to the formulation of the poetics of Soledad Fariña. In this occasion, we turn our attention to the poem-novel or novel-poem Yllu (Fariña 2015), which foregrounds the matter of literary genres by developing, with both narrative and lyric complexity, the main voices/characters/figures present in the text. These figures disguise and reveal the presence of the subject as female writer, like an incarnated manifestation of a poetics that insists and delves into the major aspects of the work by this great Chilean poet.
