Abstract

Beginning with the contrast “mystification/historization” –an open tension, of unstable limits–, we demark an approximation to constellations of poetic sensibilities of a sector of recent magellanic poetry. The purpose is to elucidate certain structures of feeling that circulate in these texts, which, while being different, converge in the practice of adjusting the poetic imagination to the omnipresence of a tragic landscape and memory. This circulation is conflictive due to an imaginative adjustment that occurrs as a partial eviction of those celebratory discursivities of a landscape symbolically placed at the service of “an epic of colonization” and of progress.
