Abstract

This article focuses on the prose poem “La torre de los Diez”. It begins by defining the genre of prose poetry and addressing the link the text establishes between writing and visuality. It then analyzes the tower as an analogy with the visionary artist, a watchman who perceives all that is real as a chiaroscuro. Finally, it refers to how the image of a wing turns into a bird and a barque, new images of the visionary.
