Abstract

The authors analyze a written text produced by a psychotic patient from the perspective of the theory of enunciation and of discourse analysis. The patient was diagnosed through psychoanalysis and through this theory we try to address the subject of the enunciation, in the belief that, if the subconscious is linguistically structured, the notion of such structure can lead us to ascertain the nature of that subject. We have analyzed such image in relation to its object, the macro speech acts he uses and the formal aspects of the text. Preliminary results showed that linguistics and psychoanalysis are valuable tools to interpret discourse
