Abstract

 In this article three original texts by poet-philosopher Lucrecius are presented, with their corresponding Spanish translations and commentaries. The texts, taken from De rerum natura, are representative of the author’s main themes The first is an invocation to Venus, the second is about the passion of love, and the last one deals with the epicurean topic of the fear of death.
