Abstract

This work deals with a study of anglicisms present in the composition of the musical text of reggaeton genre in the province of Santiago de Cuba. Its main objective is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the linguistic analysis of anglicisms in songs of this musical genre. The novelty of the article lies in the integration of formal, semantic and sociocultural levels, applied to English terms present in the selected discourse, which allows teachers the use of this knowledge to contribute to the aesthetic-humanistic training in foreign language students.
