Desarrollo y educación de los niños ciegos y deficientes visuales: Areas prioritarias de intervención
Abstract
The article presents a general view of the characteristics that condition the development of visually impaired children. Especial emphasis is put in the plasticity of the human psychologicalsystem, and the alternative paths that development adopts when problems in sorne of th perceptive channels for codifying the information exist. From the description of alternative paths for development, some possibilities for intervention in the early childhood and the primary education stage of blind children are suggested.
