La Categoría de Trabajo en la Teoría del Desarrollo de Vigotsky

Abstract

The work category —in line with marxist anthropology- condenses, within the Vigotskian production, the issue of the object of the psychological discipline as well as the delimitation of analysis units for the approach to the Higher Psychological Processes. The object of Vigotskian psychology Will be the constitution of conscious and voluntary forms of psychological operations, those manifested in an excludings way by man and which are derived from work processes. The analysis units selected by Vigotsky —instrumental activity and social interaction- Will reflect the doubly mediated character of human work according to the marxist conception. Finally, consideration Will be given to the fact that work processes also supply a crucial metaphor for the understanding of Vigotskian conception about education and its place in subjective development processes.
