Abstract

This interview addresses the question of biopolitics and its situation with respect to the traditions of modern philosophy. It discusses the relation between political ideologies of the 20th century and the rise of biopolitics. Lastly, it thematizes the kinds of conceptions of life that are at stake in biopolitics.
