Activating Learning from the Experience of Wonder: The Cognitive Sublime

Abstract
This essay seeks to define one aspect of the aesthetic category of the sublime: the cognitive sublime. The aim is to present it in the field of early childhood education, as an experience that generates a new relationship with the world based on the emotion of astonishment in the face of reality. From this pedagogical perspective, this study focuses especially on the fictitious spaces of children's games and stories, insofar as, in them, learning takes place through the creative activity of the imagination.
