Dwelling characteristics are included in the "Atlas del desarrollo territorial de Chile" as an important rate of life levels, The cartography is based on Census of the years 1970, 1982 and 1992; the analysis of the maps relate dwelling to population, These variables show changes in spatial term and in their tendency during the period
