Geographic background on the area of Laguna Escondida in the Southern Ice Field

The analytical observation of a Landsat image of the Laguna Escondida-Southern Ice Field area of southern Chile has clarified some doubts regarding the spatial relationships between the lagoon, the Pacific Ocean and the drawing of a polygonal line, as foreseen in the 1991 Aylwin-Menem Agreement.
