Abstract

The article explored to obtain the index of unsatisfted basic needs (INBl). in order to determine poverty levels of the populationfrom the point ofview ofits location and distribution in eight municipal areas. Was selected twelve variables. lts values. expressed in percentages. were standarizing according to the relative dispersion method. With the obtained values was established the index of unsatisfted basic needs.
