Abstract

The regional analysis of the Cusco area that we propose is based on an extensive review of the available bibliographical sources and is nourished by the discussions and work carried out - surveys, processing and mapping of relevant data, reflection on regional dynamics - with the team of the French Institute of Andean Studies (IFEA, Lima) and the Bartolomé de Las Casas Center for Andean Regional Studies (CBC, Cusco) of the "Atlas of the Inka region in the Peruvian South". It presents an analysis and a representation essay of the structures and dynamics of the regional space from the method of korématics.
